Kentwood Methodist is a welcoming Christian community committed to growing in faith and living out God’s love every day. We believe church is not just a place to attend, but a family to belong to — where people of all ages and backgrounds can find purpose, encouragement, and hope in Christ. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who live out God’s grace through worship, spiritual growth, and compassionate service. Through meaningful worship, opportunities for learning, and hands-on outreach to our neighbors, we seek to follow the example of Jesus and share His transforming grace with the world. Our Purpose
At Kentwood Methodist, our purpose is to help people discover the life-changing love of Jesus Christ and to grow together as followers of His way. We exist to nurture faith that is active, faith that shapes our hearts, guides our choices, and sends us into the world as instruments of God’s grace. We believe every person is created with a God-given purpose, and through worship, community, and service, we seek to encourage one another to live into that purpose each day. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive to be a church where love leads, hope rises, and Christ’s light shines through us into our community.
